IceStopper® a great invention, the purpose of which is to prevent the ice placed into a drink from floating into a person's lips, teeth and mouth in general. The IceStopper® is a colander that is located 3 cm below the edge of the glass. When a person tips the glass, the colander separates the ice from the drink so that the ice stays conveniently away from the personâs lips and mouth. IceStoppers® can be manufactured from materials used by food industry such as plastic and steel. The product comes in many sizes and coloures. The central area that looks like a coin is meant for advertising purposes, using embossed or tampo printed letters. The principal consumers of IceStopper® are restaurants and food industry. For the first time, IceStopper® was launched to the public via the cooperation with Sinebrychoff - the largest producer of softdrinks and brewery in Finland ö for the sider called Golden Cap. IceStopper® is a registered trademark and there is a pantent application pending. In Finland, IceStopper® is being used by, for example, the following restaurants: The invention has been presented for example in the newspaper called City-lehti.
